Options and Recommendation
If you are already preparing for any current CCNA or CCNP certifications, you should keep going. You have until February 23, 2020 to complete your CCNA/CCNP certification with current exams.
Untill February 23, 2020
- Take single composite exam CCNA 200-125.
OR - Take two exams, ICND1 100-105 and ICND2 200-105.
If you complete either the composite-exam path or the two-exams path before February 24, 2020, you will receive the new CCNA certification and a training badge in the corresponding technology area.
After February 23, 2020
You will have to take the new CCNA 200-301 composite exam to complete the CCNA certification. There is no replacement exam for ICND1 or ICND2.
Our Recommendation
If you have already started your preparation, keep going.
The two-exams path to CCNA is recommended for newcomers in the networking field. The drawback is that you have to spend more money, more time and attempt two exams. Composite CCNA exam is recommended for those who have previous experience in networking technologies.

I want to thank all of the employees at How2Pass for your hard work and dedication researching and developing the material. I passed the ICND1 with a score of 896/1000 and the ICND2 with 872/1000. I couldn't have passed either test without this site and that is a fact.
I have been in the field for 16 years. I have worked for a large university and a large IT company doing routing and switching. With all of that said, I read the entire ICND1 book in July, took the first How2Pass test and failed so badly that I was embarrassed. I was defeated.
I quickly learned that there is a huge difference between reading the books, making flash cards, doing all the CCNA Cisco Routing and Switch boxset labs and taking these tests. I could have read the books five times and still would have failed.
Thanks to my success, I am continuing with my CCNP studies in two days. Why stop the fight now, when I finally have a great corner team.
