ip access-group 101 for the interface Gi0/0 with the IP; 10.0.0.1/24 should be applied on the IN direction as opposed to the OUT direction in the answer. Can we please have a review?

The question doesn't tell us which interface is Gig0/0. If we consider Gig0/0 to be the WAN interface, then the option in which the ACL is applied inbound has the wrong IP address. But if we consider it to be the LAN interface, then the inbound ACL wouldn't work as it will only filter traffic coming from the LAN segment.
