H2P Hands on Lab no 7 query - sdavidson - 11-07-2013 Hi all, Just a quick question on Lab 7 for CCNP route - why do the Eigrp routes have to be redistributed into OSPF as metric-type 1 ? there is no mention of this in the lab question and we get the exact same result if we just use the default metric of type 2 as the routes are chosen because of the AD (109) and not the cost metric! R2(config-router)#redistribute eigrp 100 metric-type 1 subnets ! Redistribute EIGRP routes into OSPF as type 1 external routes. thanks Steven
