disable IP ROUTING on a layer 3 switch
This was part of a tricky configuration.
The simulator would not take no ip routing ,no ip cef and this had to affect all interfaces so the interface
command no ip route-cache cef could not be used.Searching about it I thought to use the sdm prefer vlan but : Use the sdm prefer vlan global configuration command only on switches intended for Layer 2 switching with no routing. When you use the VLAN template, no system resources are reserved for routing entries, and any routing is done through software.
So Cisco says that there is routing, although limited, through software.
I would appreciate some help since I would not be able to answer this question.
