I think that "Use two way route distribution when the is one path" is also an acceptable answer.  You will not get routing loops in such cases.  Could someone correct me if I am wrong.

Agree with you Jack...

In my opinion in 2 way redistribution in a single path, as long as you the correct metrics applied,,, routing loops can be avoided...

Routing loops mostly arise in multiple path that needs distribution-list, policy, etc to avoid loops,,,
