Cisco has officially announced the upcoming transition of the 200-301 CCNA exam from v1.1 to v2.0 (major update). 

• Last Date to Test for v1.1: February 2, 2027
  
• v2.0 Launch Date: February 3, 2027

If you are currently studying for your CCNA or plan to get certified soon, targeting the v1.1 exam before February 2, 2027, is strongly recommended.

• Why take v1.1: A vast amount of study material, practice questions, and lab solutions for the current v1.1 blueprint are already mature and widely available.
  
• What to expect in v2.0: The upcoming v2.0 exam introduces major shifts, including a brand-new focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) operations, advanced scenario-based troubleshooting, and a lack of mature resources immediately following its launch.
  

Locking in your attempt before the cutoff allows you to test against a predictable, well-documented exam pool. Once passed, your certification will remain valid for the standard three years.
