It is kind of harder than I thought in the beginning. I stumbled on a router sim question very early and not even sure if I saved the config or not :-). Then I got another router sim question and I thought man I am going to fail. amazingly i got through the rest of the questions rather quickly and finished with 15 minutes left.

what can i say, study hard and definitely get to 100% understanding of your h2p questions and answers. This is the best money you can spend for your certifications.

I used Odom's two books and Lammle's CCNA study guide, plus the wonderful H2P!

Hello Lunch.......

Well - It sounds, that we both got a rather similar exam, because my exam story is almost exact the same like yours ! 
Did you manage the EIGRP SIM  (newly added EIGRP Home1 Router) 100% at the beginning of the exam? - What were the errors in the actual EIGRP netw altogether ? - I just found the wrong configured AS number on the newly added router in the SIM case, but there must have been more errors on the network, because I still couldn't get any EIGRP Routes up in the Home1 Routing Table! - (Further info in my Post below!)

So pls help, if you possibly can, because I'm VERY curious i getting to know, what the other errors were in that particular SIM-case, in order to solve it 100% - You know!

Hey Nick, sorry that I missed your post. Haven't been reading posts after the ICND1 exam. But I do remember that SIM for EIGRP. Unfortunately I did the same thing - I gave up in the end cause I could not figure it out. I think it may be one of those questions that are not counted toward your score though. Sorry that I could not be more helpful.

But I just past ICND2 today with 986, and as soon as I got home, the CCENT certificate from Cisco was in the mail!  ;D

I got a Switch testlet and router SIM in the very beginning, but they didn't give me much trouble. Overall, I felt like it is easier than ICND1, but may be it is because I spent a lot of time in Lab practicing.

What's your next step? CCNP?

Thank's for answering - allthough none of us still are clear about what the remaining errors were in the actual EIGRP Sim case on the exam  :'( (BTW - My exam was the composite 640-802 CCNA exam)...

Regarding taking the CCNP exam now - Well I would really love to do it, but due my lack of a Job (and thus earning money for living) I'm forced to get a Job first (hopefully comming to me by help of my newly achieved CCNA Certification)  :

However my whole CCNA Study process has REALLY been giving me the motivation for also studying the CCNP Track, and perhaps someday in the later future it could be possible for me somehow, although due to my age I've not many years in the IT-industry anymore - So at the moment I don't know, what will happen in my future working life regarding further education and so on - You know...

Anyway wish you all the best in your future Networking Career !
