I have a few questions about the actual Cisco Exam that this site is helping to prepare us for (300-101):
Other than the 726+ multiple choice/drag and drop questions and the two provided SIM/SIMLET/TESTLET challenge questions what else will be on the exam? Is the hands on labs section actually on the exam or is that just to help prepare you for the real world?
There is a lot of content to absorb and I have been putting in the time reading the Cisco Press Official Exam Guide and spending a lot of time on this website trying to sharpen my skills and see what types of questions to expect on the exam. I think it would do everyone a world of good to know exactly what to expect on test day. How many questions are we talking about? How many are they standard multiple choice/Drag and drop and how many are hands on? Can you tell us specifically which hands on questions to spend our time perfecting (I know... study everything and be prepared for anything Cisco can throw at you). But really.... where should I spend most of my time between now and exam day? I have already spent 4 weeks on this web site after reading the Cisco Press Official Exam Guide cover to cover and I still don't feel like I am ready to face the exam. But I think a few more short days refining my focus on the hands on section of the exam will go a long way.
Thank you for your help as I try to take this last step in my CCNP Certification

I scored 967. Got the STP LACP LAB and the HSRP simlets. Only two new questions and both Easy. Most of the questions where from the recently updated section. Still very Valid.

how2pass is an awesome practical study resource, worth every penny, thanks to the wealth of knowledge you will obtain studying this material. It is a great learning resource for all the exam topics, thanks to the very detailed explanations for each question and the great practice sims and labs.
You could pass using how2pass only if you have experience in the field. You should get additional resources if you are a beginner. Questions randomly come from every section so you need to learn all the questions and study all topics. You also need to know all of the labs and sims very well because they are not exactly the same on the test, they are modified. Not just different IPs, but different config, output. You need to understand all parts of the labs and simlets in depth if you want to do well. I think this test in general was way too much material packed together and it was very tough to get through in 2 months. If you are new take the 2 test path to CCNA.

Passed the ICND2.
Resources used.
Todd Lammle ICND2 Book
Chris Bryant CCNA ICND2 Boot camp.
Cisco White papers on each exam topic. <-- Most important step even more than these practice test. You have to research each topic and fully understand them. Make flash cards if you have trouble remembering certain facts.
GNS3 for labbing.

Although, I passed, I found the practice questions from How2Pass and the actual exam approximately 50 / 50 in similarity. The Simulations and Simlet questions were completely different; none, from how2pass were on my test. The test was also much more difficult then Cisco's previous ICND1. Nonetheless, I'm excited to see what all is covered in Cisco's 2020 material. Thank you How2Pass*.*
