  range of questions feature
Posted by: c3rtifi4bl3 - 10-02-2019, 08:10 PM - Forum: General - Replies (4)

I liked it when the site allowed you to select a range of questions (1 - 10, 1 - 20, etc; ) as I felt the repetition helped me better prepare for the test.  That and I could use it as a yardstick to gauge my progress throughout whatever section I happened to be studying. Are you guys/gals considering bringing that feature back or is that feature gone forever?  It would be great if you would bring that ability back.

A1252 - DNS question does not have correct answer!
Posted by: mentalfloss - 09-30-2019, 08:16 AM - Forum: Answer this question - No Replies

IMO question A1252 does not have the proper answer available to select. "What step is the first that a host uses to resolve a server hostname to an ip address?" The answer is a host looks in its hosts file first, if not found then goes to DNS.

Big Grin CCNP Route - PASSED!
Posted by: johndamanager - 09-29-2019, 04:36 PM - Forum: CCNP ENARSI 300-410 Forum - Replies (4)

Passed the Route test with a very solid score!  Cool

I have to say: the hands on labs section is a LIFESAVER and worth the ENTIRE price of the two months of access. Make sure you know them because I would've had a way harder time had I not seen them before. The simlets are also very good practice. Get comfortable with them, as I'd say bet the farm you'll see them both on the test!

Many questions from the recently updated questions section, really they were almost exclusively from that section, I'd say about 80% of the questions, and then some which if you did any study besides using this site you could either take a very good guess at, or you'd know the answer. I'd strongly recommend knowing all of those questions by heart before going into the testConfused

I had like 6 PPPoE questions which kind of surprised me, a couple of them (sorry I can't remember what, exactly) which really threw me a curveball and I know I missed. They have also re-worded a few questions so make sure you read carefully!  Idea

How2Pass, keep doing what you're doing! I'm trying to beat the clock on the CCNP and I know I can do it with y'all helping me out!

  Passed CCNP Switch 300-115 Today!
Posted by: upirons - 09-14-2019, 04:57 PM - Forum: Exam Experience - No Replies

2nd question was Lab 6, the long one but I did fine there. Had the HSRP and VTP simlets, nothing different in either one versus H2P. Thanks How2Pass for making it possible to have success!

  bad question- answer
Posted by: rdhooke90 - 09-13-2019, 05:14 PM - Forum: CCNP ENARSI 300-410 Forum - Replies (3)

RTE 753 question doesn't have the correct answer.

OSPF uses router id than highest ip on a  loopback interface and than normal IPV4 interface that is in the UP condition.
So if you configure a new LB ip address and reboot the router. it still uses the original ROUTER ID that was assigned.

  CCNP 300-101 Questions
Posted by: rdhooke90 - 09-09-2019, 07:02 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (3)

CCNP 300-101 has not been updated with any questions for almost 4 months.

Some sites state they have the new questions as of August . Its approx 150 plus new additional question. When will this site update/add the new questions?

Thanks

Study Group and I passed CCENT
Posted by: richlandcisco - 08-24-2019, 05:08 AM - Forum: Exam Experience - No Replies

My study group and I passed.

For those trying to memorize the questions on the practice exam, don't. Use it as a reference. Its not about memorizing, you have to actually understand what is going on in the different layers, what configurations do what, and how to troubleshoot.

You can also use it what is offered by this site as a reference to find out exactly at what area's you are struggling with. I found out which areas I had trouble with and what exactly I was getting mixed up on. Studied those specific areas and it helped a lot.

But yeah my group and I passed. Not going to lie, I thought I failed by like 10 questions in. My confidence was completely shot, and I was prepared to just walk out. I stuck with it though and kept trying. When I got my score I passed by a significant higher margin than I thought I did. So I didn't barely pass, I passed and it felt good.

Couldn't have done it without this website. Thanks guys.

QID S36: GRE tunnel and PPP Implementation (CCNA) HELP!
Posted by: armiller0987 - 08-12-2019, 08:54 PM - Forum: Answer this question - Replies (5)

On question #3, the Simlet asks you, "Which statement about the router configurations is correct?" I believe that there are two correct statements. From what I can see, these two statements are both accurate:

1.) "The BrAnch 2 LAN Network 192.168.11.0/24 is not adverti$ed into the EIGRP network."  (EIGRP is not configured at all)
2.) "The Branch 3 LAN Network 192.168.10.0/24 is not advertised into the EIGRP network."  (The network statement is not present in the EIGRP config)

How2Pass says that #2 is the correct statement, but isn't #1 technically a "correct statement" ?

Anyone have any thoughts on this? Is this a word-trick because EIGRP is not enabled on router Br-2 at all? That's the only thing I can possibly figure.

Thanks,
Amanda
