  Exam Passed with 853 Score
Posted by: RaZiel2016 - 09-30-2016, 05:00 PM - Forum: CCNP SWITCH 300-115 - No Replies

Dear All,

Today I passed my CCNP Switching Exam with a score of 853. How2Pass really helped me to test my skills and also re fresh my knowledge.

Apart from H2P I used the GNS3Vault CCNP Switching Study Guide while taking the academy course.

Please study hard and also test you skills while doing the H2P labs. From my end I had 3 Labs during the exam (The VACL one, the one about LACP and Spanning Tree & the VTP one)

Good Luck to everyone  Smile

13.  If primary and secondary root switches with priority 16384 both experience catastrophic losses, which tertiary switch can take over?

A switch with priority 12288

A switch with priority 4096

A switch with priority 8192

A switch with priority 20480

Your answer is the last one, 20480.  How is it that the highest priority takes over??  And, what is a primary and secondary root switch?  What is a tertiary switch?

I appreciate your help.

Hey all,
Are there any exam sites like How2Pass for the CCDP ARCH exam?
I am studying for that exam to get my CCDP, and want to find an exam site that has some good exams on it.

Thanks for all input

  Passed ICND1!!!!
Posted by: Rockstar - 08-21-2016, 02:37 PM - Forum: Exam Experience - No Replies

I passed ICND1 on 8/19 just before the last day to test. I've been in the networking field for over 10 years and found the exam to be a bit challenging. I must say, how2pass was a very useful tool in passing this exam, however, if you are new to networking, you will be doing yourself an injustice by using this tool alone. I recommend packet tracer or build your own CCNA lab, which can be found on ebay and some very good books and study. Also for the new exam, study up on IPv6 and BGP.

I'm sitting for ICND2 on 8/26 using how to pass and other resources. I have found that a CCNA will definitely help with career advancement. ;D

958 / 1000

Made that exam my beatch!

Kudos to this site for very closely simulating the testing environment (apart from the nervous jitters).

DO NOT THINK this is the singular resource you would need to pass the exam. I used H2P as a supplement, and as a verification tool, to the OCG/FLG books plus the actual CCNP Switch version 6 and 7 lab manuals on real lab equipment.

It was very helpful to have the explanations on some of these questions to help explain the how and why of things, given the testing format and options to choose from.

Don't treat this site as a brain dump and you'll learn a helluva more than you bargained for Smile

So yeah, thanks again and what do I do with my leftover two weeks of subscription? lol

  Several errors in the questions
Posted by: sykosys - 07-21-2016, 02:33 AM - Forum: CCNP SWITCH 300-115 - No Replies

Look, not trying to be "that guy" or some grammar Nazi here, but I've come across several questions that are missing details or just outright goofy. To wit:

SW560: Two of the 4 answers are "Unknown"
SW416: There is no diagram or exhibit to reference
SW197: To be valid in the running-config, the output of RT2 should have the standby IP address, not just "standby 1 ip"

Haven't been thru all the questions....yet  Smile

I'd love to see better accuracy in the test questions, not because of memorization and cramming, but this platform is often used to supplement information already learned.

Got a 731.  Did not do one of the hands on tests enough.  It was #7.  Will now lose both CCNA and CCNP because I have to wait a week before I can reschedule.  MY time with run out.  I have never gotten any hands on experience through a job.  Right now not able to set up own equipment.  Wonder if having a network tech job is out of the cards for me.

I passed my switching test today, 958!  Thank you How2pass!  How2Pass helped me get prepared for this test. Not only the type of questions but testing format.  Thank you again!

Passed! No need to think twice. This things work. Study hard, know those labs inside out, on youre own lab, equipment. Then you are good to go.
