  Passed 640-802 score:972

I heavily recommend How2Pass not only because the practice tests felt very similar to the real exam but also because of the thorough explanations which enable you to fully understand where you went wrong.

  Passed BSCI 977
Posted by: baloo247 - 05-11-2009, 11:28 AM - Forum: CCNP ENARSI 300-410 - No Replies

Woohoo. BCMSN and BSCI now complete.

Exam had 4 router simulations i think. EIGRP, OSPF, STUBBY AREAS x 2. There was a new one but basically asked you to setup the area so that only summary and connected route is present i.e. a eigrp stub area. All good.

there was some odd multicasting questions which threw me off a bit but all good in the end.

Very little on IPv6.

Basically if you know your stuff you should be sweet.

  Just passed ICND2 (second try)
Posted by: Jane - 05-09-2009, 03:33 AM - Forum: Exam Experience - No Replies

This was my second try this month and finally passed. I am CCNA certified. Both times I took the ICND2 test, I had OSPF. I also had the Identify Vlan and STP configuration on both tests. Make sure you go through those simulations really well. They will come up. I found the ICND2 test to be a lot harder than the ICND1. SUCCESS IS A GREAT FEELING!!! I WOULD NEVER BE CERTIFIED IF I DIDNT USE HOW2PASS!

  Question BCM515
Posted by: andrewerowley - 05-03-2009, 11:43 AM - Forum: CCNP SWITCH 300-115 - Replies (1)

Am I missing something here? Is some information omitted from the output, how do we know it is DS2 and not DS1 that is the AVG and will forward the address?

Where is the Administrator of the forum?

I would expect to get a reaction relating to my posts from the ADMIN after some days but nothing happens. It's a pity, because I don't have enough time to wait for him. Tomorrow is the date for my next exam – too late for me to clarify my questions.

QID:BCM398 LAN Hopping or Switch Spoofing?
Posted by: uno4 - 04-26-2009, 12:48 PM - Forum: CCNP SWITCH 300-115 - No Replies

refer to question QID:BCM398 When an attacker is using switch spoofing to perform VLAN hopping, how is the attacker able to gather information?

Your answer an your explanation describes Switch Spoofing instead of VLAN Hopping
Please correct it.

T1 connection - REAL WORLD SCENARIO
Posted by: rohn_tolentino - 04-26-2009, 07:03 AM - Forum: CCNP TSHOOT 300-135 - No Replies

PLS HELP ME OUT from this...

I am so confused about T1 Connection.

We have a new office that will connect from Philippines to Japan. The net diagram is T1 Connection (1.544Mbps)

I am confused about, pls Correct me if Im wrong...

1. My thinking is that T1 Connection is a leased line, it is a cable that only our network traffic flows.

2. It is also a point to point which means the office we have here in the Phil will be 1.544Mbps straight going to Japan Office. Or is it 1.544Mbps only from the Phil Office to the Phil Telco Provider.

3. What are the encapsulation type that T1 using? Is it Frame Relay? MPLS? VPN? Broadband?

4. How many IP addresses that we're going to receive from the Telco? for T1 Connection. I think T1 connection has 24 channels.

5. If T1 can connect to the internet, meaning from Phil office to Telco is terminated. How can we connect directly to Japan Office if the end line is connected to the internet.

thnx in advance

QID:BCM128 Missing info in the question
Posted by: uno4 - 04-25-2009, 04:12 PM - Forum: CCNP SWITCH 300-115 - Replies (2)

refer to question QID:BCM128: VLAN 1 and VLAN 2 are configured between the switches SW1 and SW2 in the exhibit. What should be done to load balance VLAN traffic between SW1 and SW2?

The question is misleading since there is no information where the root bridge is!
The answer Lower the port priority for VLAN 1 on port 0/2 for Switch SW1 is only correct in the case the root switch is SW1. The other way around (SW2 is the root) no answer matches.
